Cloud hosting for all of the Services: application servers and databases, file and media storage (S3), content delivery for published sites and the Editor (CloudFront), transactional email (SES), background queues, search, the model behind the Cargo Assistant (SageMaker) and the real-time collaboration service used by the Editor. Data: all account, site and User Customer Data. Location: US East (N. Virginia). CloudFront caches published site files at edge locations worldwide; the origin is in the United States.
Braintree, a PayPal service (PayPal, Inc.)
Payment processing for subscriptions and domain purchases. Data: payment details are entered by the User directly with Braintree; Cargo stores only a payment token and billing status. Location: United States.
Stripe, Inc.
Payment processing for Upgrades and subscriptions. Data: payment details are entered by the User directly with Stripe; Cargo stores only a payment token and billing status. Location: United States.
Intercom, Inc.
Support messaging, and account records used to provide support. Conversations with the Cargo Assistant are stored here so that the support team can continue them. Data: name, email address, account attributes and the content of support and assistant conversations. Location: United States.
Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry)
Error monitoring for cargo.site, the Editor and the Workspace. Data: user identifier, IP address and technical details of the error. Location: United States.
Tucows Domains Inc. (Enom)
Registration and renewal of domain names purchased through Cargo. Data: registrant contact details required for domain registration. Location: United States and Canada.
